Terra-Therm Systems Inc. uses a ground source heat pump system to capture energy stored in the earth and uses it to heat or cool your commercial building, home, or swimming pool. This is an environmentally friendly and inexpensive way to produce heat, air conditioning, or hot water. The possibilities are endless.
How it Works
Fluid circulated through a system of underground pipes becomes warmed by the earth. The Terra-Therm Systems Inc. ground source heat pump extracts heat from the fluid and amplifies its temperature to generate hot water, warm air and radiant heating. The remaining fluid, which is now cool, is then pumped back through the underground pipes where it reabsorbs heat from the earth.
The Terra-Therm Systems Inc. ground source heat pump may be reversed to air condition your home. The heat extracted from air in your home is then amplified to generate hot water, pool heat, spa heat, etc. Any surplus heat is then rejected through the underground pipes and back into the earth.
Complete communities are being heated with similar systems in Sweden and throughout Europe. Massive projects have also been installed in the U.S.A. and Canada.
